Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, and Mitsuki officially begin working together as the new Team 7 after graduating from the Ninja Academy. Under the leadership of Konohamaru Sarutobi, the three young shinobi must learn how to function as a three person squad despite having very different personalities and fighting styles. Boruto is impulsive and confident, Sarada is focused and analytical, while Mitsuki is calm and observant. Their first mission gives them an early opportunity to discover how their individual abilities can complement one another.
The mission also establishes the foundation of their relationship. What initially looks like a simple assignment quickly becomes more complicated when Team 7 reaches a village suffering repeated attacks from bandits. Facing a situation that demands more than individual strength forces Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki to begin trusting one another as genuine teammates.
How Boruto’s Team 7 Comes Together
Team 7 is formed after Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki complete their Academy training. Konohamaru becomes their jōnin leader, taking responsibility for guiding the three young shinobi through their first missions. Although the team carries the same name associated with Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, its new members initially have to establish their own identity.
Their first official mission takes them to a village where they are asked to stop a group of bandits that has repeatedly attacked the settlement. The assignment initially appears straightforward, but the team soon learns that the situation is more difficult than expected. Meeting Kiri, the young village leader who recently lost her father, gives the mission an additional emotional dimension.
Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki approach problems differently, which creates some early friction. Boruto tends to act quickly, Sarada relies on careful judgment, and Mitsuki observes situations before deciding how to respond. Instead of making the differences a weakness, their contrasting approaches gradually become the foundation of their teamwork.
Their development becomes even clearer during later missions. Boruto’s ninjutsu, Sarada’s Sharingan and combat ability, and Mitsuki’s unusual abilities allow them to cover different aspects of a fight. The team eventually becomes capable of combining their strengths rather than simply fighting alongside one another.
This teamwork becomes particularly important when Team 7 faces more dangerous enemies. Their encounters with opponents connected to larger threats show that their success depends on communication and trust as much as individual power. Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki therefore grow from three young shinobi assigned to the same squad into a team that genuinely relies on one another.
