The upcoming Free Fire Daybreak anime has released its first official trailer, offering fans a closer look at the action-packed adaptation of Garena’s globally popular mobile battle royale game.
Alongside the new footage, the production team has also revealed fresh story details ahead of the anime’s scheduled Spring 2027 premiere.
The trailer debuted on the official Free Fire YouTube channel. The series will stream worldwide, including in Japan.
Trailer previews Kelly’s fight against Horizon Corporation
According to the official synopsis, the story takes place in the futuristic city of New Dawn, where 16-year-old Kelly becomes involved in the mysterious Project Bloom. After awakening an extraordinary power known as “Limit Break,” she begins uncovering secrets tied to the powerful Horizon Corporation.
As memories from her past resurface, Kelly joins new allies to expose a far-reaching conspiracy threatening the city’s future. The anime promises a blend of superpowered battles, friendship, and mystery as she searches for the truth.
Free Fire Daybreak is co-produced by Kadokawa and Garena Online Private Limited, with Kadokawa QingYyu overseeing production management. Ken Takahashi (Ragna Crimson) directs the series, while Hotaru Asafuji (Azur Lane: Slow Ahead!) handles the scripts and series composition. Animation is being produced by CANDY BOX, with music composed by Sus4 Inc.
