Boruto, Naruto, and Sasuke defeat Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki through a combination of overwhelming power, teamwork, and one perfectly timed attack. After Momoshiki absorbs Kinshiki and transforms, even the combined strength of the Kage struggles to stop him. Naruto and Sasuke then take over the fight, combining Kurama’s chakra with Sasuke’s Susanoo to push Momoshiki back.
However, Momoshiki eventually turns the situation around and traps the exhausted Kage, leaving the battle in a dangerous position. Sasuke realizes that Boruto’s newly developed Vanishing Rasengan can create the opening they need. Naruto then entrusts his remaining chakra to Boruto, allowing father and son to combine their power.

How Boruto, Naruto and Sasuke Defeat Momoshiki
The battle changes after Momoshiki consumes Kinshiki and gains an enormous increase in power. Naruto and Sasuke fight together, with Naruto using Kurama’s power while Sasuke utilizes his Susanoo and Rinnegan abilities. Their coordination allows them to pressure Momoshiki despite his ability to absorb ninjutsu, but the Ōtsutsuki remains an overwhelming opponent.
Boruto becomes crucial because his Vanishing Rasengan gives the heroes an attack Momoshiki does not initially expect. The technique was developed by Boruto during his training with Konohamaru and incorporates his natural Lightning Release, causing the Rasengan to disappear after being launched. Boruto uses this ability to catch Momoshiki off guard and create an opening for the final stage of the battle.
Momoshiki still manages to fight back, using chakra pills to increase his power and trapping Sasuke and the Kage. With the situation becoming desperate, Naruto gives Boruto the chakra needed to create an enormous Rasengan. Sasuke supports the plan by helping Boruto get into position, while Naruto’s contribution allows his son’s attack to reach a completely different level of power.
Boruto then launches the massive Rasengan and successfully strikes Momoshiki. The attack defeats the Ōtsutsuki and ends the immediate threat to Naruto and the other shinobi. The moment also carries major emotional significance because Boruto recognizes the weight behind the technique and begins to understand the sacrifices his father made as a shinobi.
The victory therefore belongs to all three characters, but Boruto delivers the final blow.
