Go, Go, Loser Ranger! is going on another hiatus after creator Negi Haruba experienced health issues, interrupting the manga’s publication just weeks after its return. The announcement appeared in the 47th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on October 21, 2026.

The latest break follows a two-month absence that ended on September 24. At the time of writing, neither Kodansha nor the magazine has announced when the manga will resume serialization.

The timing is particularly notable because Go, Go, Loser Ranger! entered its final story arc in March 2026. Readers will have to wait longer for the story to progress, although the publisher has not indicated that the hiatus will change the planned conclusion.

Haruba’s manga previously went on hiatus on July 8, 2026, before returning in September. The new announcement confirms another interruption for health-related reasons, but does not provide further details about the creator’s condition.

The series began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in February 2021. Haruba is also known for creating The Quintessential Quintuplets, another popular manga that received an anime adaptation.

Also known as Sentai Daishikkaku, the manga turns the traditional superhero formula on its head. The story reveals that the invading monsters were defeated early in their war against the Divine Dragon Rangers and are now forced to stage weekly battles for the public.

The plot follows a monster who decides to rebel against the Rangers from within. Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English, while its anime adaptation premiered in 2024 and received a second season in 2025.

Both anime seasons are available on Disney+, with Hulu also offering the series in North America.

For now, readers will need to await an official update regarding the manga’s return.
