The Overgeared anime is officially set to premiere on October 2, 2026. The announcement arrived alongside a new trailer and key visual, giving fans another look at the upcoming adaptation of Saenal’s original work, which was adapted into a manhwa by Monohumbug of REDICE STUDIO and Team Argo.
According to Crunchyroll, the anime will stream on Crunchyroll. The latest trailer also previews the opening theme, “SATISFY,” performed by Re:name, while TAO will perform the ending theme, “Ray of Emotion.”
The latest announcement confirms Riho Sugiyama as Jishuka, Masaaki Mizunaka as Toban, Yasushi Bonkobara as Regas, Katsuya Fukunishi as Vantner, Kohei Amasaki as Pon, and Shunichi Toki as Faker.
The series follows Shin Youngwoo, a struggling man whose life changes inside the popular virtual reality game Satisfy. After gaining the lost knowledge of a legendary blacksmith, his character, Grid, must begin again and forge his path toward becoming one of the game’s strongest players.
Ayako Kono directs Overgeared at J.C.STAFF, with Kenta Ihara handling series composition, Ryosuke Tanigawa designing the characters, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa composing the music. The series previously revealed Tatsumaru Tachibana as Grid and Asami Seto as Yura.
With its October 2 premiere now confirmed, the new trailer and visual have given the Overgeared anime a clearer look at its growing world and characters ahead of its Crunchyroll debut.
