Fans of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You can soon add Season 2 to their anime collections, as Crunchyroll is releasing the series on Blu-ray. The home video release arrives on August 10, 2026, bringing Rentaro Aijo’s chaotic romantic journey to physical media.
The second season continues Rentaro’s unusual love story as he expands his group of destined soulmates while dealing with increasingly unpredictable situations. The official description teases new characters joining the cast, including “maids to masochists,” while Rentaro attempts to manage his complicated relationships alongside a dangerous curse.
More Anime Blu-ray Releases Arrive This Week
Alongside The 100 Girlfriends Season 2 Blu-ray, MVM Entertainment is releasing a physical edition of My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered. The fantasy anime follows Yogiri Takatou and Tomochika Dannoura after they are transported to another world where their classmates receive powerful abilities, leaving them seemingly powerless.
However, the pair soon discover they possess unexpected abilities that may help them survive against dangerous enemies and a world filled with powerful beings.
The anime was directed by Masakazu Hishida at animation studio Okuru to Noboru, with Jou Aoba handling series composition and scripts. Sayuri Sakimoto designed the characters, while composers including Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, and Daisuke Kadowaki created the soundtrack.
Anime Limited is also preparing a special “Yokai” Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release for DAN DA DAN Season 2. The exclusive set, available through AllTheAnime, will include bonus collectibles such as a sticker sheet, glow-in-the-dark key visual art card, and a 56-page booklet featuring production materials, staff interviews, character artwork, and animation details.
