The World’s Strongest Witch light novel series is officially heading toward its conclusion. Amazon Japan has listed the sixth volume of Mochimaru Sakaki’s fantasy series as the final installment, with the book scheduled to ship on October 7, 2026.
The announcement arrives at an important time for the franchise, as its television anime adaptation is also scheduled to debut in Japan during the same month. The series began as a web novel before becoming a published light novel and later receiving a manga adaptation.
Volume 6 Will Conclude Rona’s Story
The World’s Strongest Witch follows Rona, a girl who is rejected by her family after developing a seemingly worthless ability called “Internet.” However, she eventually discovers that the unusual skill gives her access to extraordinary knowledge and allows her to obtain valuable items and rare equipment.
The original story by Sakaki began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in May 2022. Square Enix released the first print light novel volume in December 2022, featuring illustrations by riritto, while the fifth volume was published in May 2025.
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Tamaki Toga, began serialization in 2023 through Kodansha’s platforms. The manga reached its 12th compiled volume in May 2026, giving the franchise another ongoing format even as the original novels approach their ending.
The upcoming anime adaptation is scheduled to premiere on October 7, 2026, airing on Tokyo MX, BS11 and TV Aichi before its MBS broadcast on October 10. The timing means the anime will arrive just as readers prepare for the sixth and final light novel volume.
With Volume 6 now listed as the conclusion, fans will soon find out how Rona’s unusual journey ultimately ends.
