A still from Millennium Family announcement

Sho Kasugai’s Millennium Family (Odoru Sennen Kazoku) is officially getting a television anime adaptation. The announcement was made by Shōnengahōsha, confirming that the series will air on TBS and other Japanese broadcasters. However, a premiere date has not yet been revealed.

According to the official announcement, Masato Jinbo will direct the anime at PartsCraft while also supervising the series composition. Hiroshi Yoneda has been appointed as the character designer and chief animation director, and Rikuya Yasuda will voice the protagonist, Theo.

The manga follows seven immortal siblings born in England who possess eternal life. While their unique gift allows them to live for centuries, it also makes them targets for criminal organizations, military groups, and unethical medical institutions. After spending years apart, the siblings reunite to face new challenges together.

Kasugai launched Millennium Family in Young King Ours magazine in March 2021. The manga’s ninth collected volume is scheduled for release in Japan on July 30, 2026, continuing the supernatural family saga as anticipation builds for the anime adaptation.
